World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The feature of upgrading items allows players to increase the item level of equippable weapons or armor. This improves the stats and sometimes adds buffs or rerolls an affix.
It is important to remember that while you can upgrade your magic and common equipment, it's generally not worth the cost. Rare and Unique equipment will quickly surpass upgraded magic and common gear.
Cost
The player has to spend gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item depends on its current level and upgrade type chosen. For instance, upgrading a weapon will typically be cheaper than upgrading armor, as weapons have lower requirements for level. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
A new item will also come with increased stats, which can improve its performance in various ways. This could include increasing its attack power critical strike chance, or damage per second. Additionally an upgraded item might be able to offer additional buffs for its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used to increase the overall strength of a unit or a single unit, and could significantly impact the gameplay.
Items can be upgraded by any NPC who is an upgrader in the game. Generally NPCs can be found in major cities or questing spots. Players can also locate item upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, and by talking to NPCs in their faction's garrisons.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players upgrade the level of their weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is similar to gear reforging process in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of making use of currency, players will need to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.

It is important to remember that the rerolled item does not keep its original strength or any wasted resources.
Some upgraded items can only be rerolled only if the original item was a Unique Epic, Rare, or Rare. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled but the original stats are replaced by an uncapped bonus. Rerolling a Rare item will result in a Normal version of the same type, whereas the rerolling of an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same kind.
Upgraded items could have additional modifiers that can improve their performance and increase their stats. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can be earned through doing specific missions within the game.
To upgrade an equipment piece, you need to visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade an item, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. Based on the type of item, you will require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants while Dice 12 is droppable from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time

Upgrade components can be integrated into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. A player can reroll an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button with an arrow for reroll. The highest level of upgrade an item can achieve is determined by its quality and tier. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels up to nine, while common items can only be upgraded up to level six.
